HAYASHI Noriko （1928-）Japanese-style painter. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. Currently resides in Kitakyushu City. Studied under an Omotesenke instructor and began painting after being impressed by the sumi ink paintings of hanging scrolls. She received two gold prizes at Kitakyushu Art Festival Exhibition in 1990. In 1992 she received an Aono award and became a member of Nishinihonga Renmei. Also received a Yahata Bijutsu Kyokai award in 1992. In 1998 she received an incentive award at Nihon Hyogenhaten and became a coterie of Nihon Hyogenha and a member of Japan International Artists Society (JIAS). Selected for Le Salon in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Received an award for excellence at a Japan-France World Exhibition in 2011. Became a member of the AMSC Spain headquarters in 2011. Became a permanent member of Le Salon in 2012.
