KONDA Homiko (1951-) Western-style painter. Born in Akita Prefecture. Currently resides in Odate City. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Joshibi University of Art and Design. Continues to exhibit at domestic and foreign expos, personal exhibitions, group exhibitions, and organization exhibitions, including “Salon d’Automne.” She creates abstract paintings that reflect an inner vision that can be referred to as both romantic and dream-like, and their rich color composition forms a unique world. She also contributes to improving local culture by things such as receiving an Odate City art and culture special merit award. Has received many awards. Currently a member of Japan Artists Association and other associations.
H.K. no Hosoku. Created in 2009. Received a special maimeri award at a 2010 Japan-France Modern Art World Exhibition.close
