MASUI Nobuo

MASUI Nobuo (1931-) Western-style painter. Born in Osaka Prefecture. He was strongly influenced by Van Gogh, and began to independently study painting at the age of 24. He currently mainly paints things such as Mt. Fuji, flowers, and women. In 1997 he received the order of world peace merit grand knight and the title of sir. Honorable member of the Louvre Royal Academy. Vincent Van Gogh art grand prize. Emperor Napoleon art heroic prize. Pissarro recognized certificate of merit. Special honorary member of the Rembrandt House Museum. 21st century world crown jewel art hall of fame medal Renoir award. Precious crown award at the 36th Kokubiten. International peace art award.
