TANIKOSHI Naoki (19XX-) Western-style painter. Born in Nagano Prefecture. Currently resides in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Learned from Aso Saburo and Yamaguchi Takeo at an art laboratory from 1974 to 1978. Became a coterie of Nikikai in 1983 and left it in 2008. During that period he received new-face selection exhibition awards for “Yoei” and “Omoidasenai Fukei.” Exhibited at Gendai no Rafuten in 1976, Tokyo Central Art Museum Oil Painting Award Exhibition in 1981, 1983, and 1985, and Ueno Royal Museum Painting Award Exhibition and others in 1986. He has held personal exhibitions at Ginza Miyuki Gallery four times. His method of expression uses animal glue tempera (natural mineral paint, acrylic paint, animal glue).
